“Have had an excellent week. The views are amazing. We had a lovely day in Bowness and definitely recommend hiring a small boat for 1hr on the lake. We loved feeding the birds, ducks and rabbits which came into the garden. Went for a swim and played table tennis every day. A great holiday – Thank you."

“We have had a lovely 4 night break. The cabin was perfect to us, clean, cosy, warm & well equipped. We have a 2 year old little boy and a very little dog and both really enjoyed it! We came away for a relaxing, quiet break and to go for a walk and its just what we got. The scenery is beautiful and an excellent location to go into the other villages, Ambleside, Windermere, etc, and we would never want to leave our dog on her own anyway so the rule was fine to us! Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely cabin. We will deffo come again in the summer! Also a massive highlight to our trip - we had a deer come visit us in the garden – was magical for our little boy! Thanks again.”

“As everyone else has stated, very peaceful location & very well equipped lodge. Would recommend ‘Drunken Duck’ for a fantastic meal, booking essential. Good pub grub in Talbot and Britannia if you want a drink. Lovely walks incl Tarn Howes and walk along Skelwith Force. Hawkshead, Ambleside, Keswick, Bowness all worth a visit. Would love to come back!!!”
